Project Name: Monteray Wall Location: New South Wales, Australia Size: 18,000 + Square Feet Construction Issues: When the Rockdale City Council wanted to make improvements to the slowly eroding, and rather unsightly, dumped rock at the Monteray Bay shoreline, they selected Anchor Vertica as the solution. The goegrid and soil reinforcement techniques made it possible to erect the multi-tiered wall on top of the existing sand foundation for an easy, cost-effective solution. To combat the extreme conditions of salt water, a marine cement proven to be durable in coastland environments was specified in the manufacture of the Anchor Vertica blocks.
