Mission:
Our talented group of engineers, marketers, salespeople and
administrative personnel are 100% committed to providing the highest
level of customer service to our more than 70 licensees across the
world. Our solid, pinned VERSA-LOK Retaining Wall Systems to provide
a durable, environmentally-friendly, cost-effective alternative
to timbers or poured-in-place masonry walls. And above all, it’s
our goal to provide architects, contractors, engineers and homeowners
with the highest quality retaining wall system on the market.
History:
VERSA-LOK Retaining Wall Systems was founded in 1987 with the
Standard concrete unit. We’ve been creating "Solid Solutions™"
for architects, landscape architects, engineers, contractors and
homeowners ever since.
In
1988, Kirchner Brick and Block, Bridgeton, Mo., became the first
licensed manufacturer of VERSA-LOK systems. Today, VERSA-LOK works
with more than 70 licensed manufacturers worldwide.
During
the '90s, as the segmental retaining wall business started
to thrive, VERSA-LOK continued to introduce innovative products
to meet growing demand. Just five years after its inception, VERSA-LOK
unveiled the Brute® Retaining Wall System designed
specifically for industrial applications. In 1999 VERSA-LOK rolled
out a variety of new retaining wall systems including Square Foot,
Cobble®, Accent® and Mosaic®.
And recently, VERSA-LOK added yet another unique alternative to
its product line: the Weathered™ option.
As
product offerings have grown, so too has the VERSA-LOK company.
In 1987, VERSA-LOK consisted of just four employees. Since then
our ranks have swelled to more than 35. As a result, a brand-new,
state-of-the-art corporate headquarters was built right across the
street from the previous office, to accommodate this considerable
growth.
