Retaining Wall Installation
Concave Curves
The Celtik Wall System facilitates the creation of curves. For a concave curve you don’t need to cut the blocks, just lay each block in position, alternating their lengths. |

The minimum radius of a convex curve is 36 inches or 90 cm. |
Creating a 90 degree angle corner with retaining wall blocks
To create a 90 degree angle corner use the blocks that have grooves. They are included in the pallet. |
|
![Go around the block making cutting the grooves deeper and deeper to make a clean cut](images/celtik-curves6.jpg) |
Depending on if it’s a right or left corner, split the block along one of the two grooves. Proceed this way on the four faces of the block to get a good clean cut. Make sure to cut the textured side in last. |
For your safety, we recommend you use safety glasses.
Strike the newly split surface with a hammer to attain the same finish as on the other blocks.

Insert the pin without blade in the round slot closest to the side. |
|
We recommend you use concrete adhesive to glue the corner blocks together.

Lay the blocks down this way to get better stability and a natural look. |
